They seem to pretty much unite on the fiscal fictions!

I gave you more than enough factual evidence to convince even the dullest of persons that Reagan favored Saddam over the Iranians.

1 - Only when it looked like Iraq would lose and Iran would become too dominant in the region.

2 - Favoring one country over the other for part of the war once the war started is a far cry from encouraging the start of the war.

Again I prefer reality to you reading your lips or following your bias blinded eyes.

Some don't believe in evolution, some don't believe the earth is round

People with those beliefs would not accurately be described as my cohort, except perhaps in the sense of demographic cohort, and in that sense they are in your cohort as well (whatever your age)

some don't believe that other religions have validity

What do you mean by validity in this context?

some don't believe that the races are equal

Equal in every way, including being exactly equal in overall statistical averages of different abilities and propensities?

Or equal as in "equal under the law", "possessing of equal rights", combined with "broadly equal in overall ability" and "deserving of being treated as equal individuals".

People who don't believe the later grouping of ideas are not "in my cohort" (again except in the demographic sense).

and some don't believe that past presidents have consorted with dictators

Probably every past president who served at least one full term has consorted with dictators (counting non-elected ruling kings as dictators).
