Fear a survival trait? Fortune favours the brave. I was sitting in a meeting in a big hall a couple of days ago. The door to the outside was open. A sparrow kept coming in and pecking at the remains of a muffin under a seat (occupied) in front of me. I observed that she was going outside and feeding her chick, and I thought that this sparrow had good genes for courage for survival in the city.
