2007 is on track to have the lowest military suicide rate since that chart's beginning in 1980.

It would be interesting to read a comparison of the first four years of Nam (with the draft and volunteers) versus the first four years of Iraq and Afghanistan (volunteers).

Incredible statistics. Listening to Big Media you would think our veterans were being afflicted with an epidemic of suicides. Hugely grateful that that is mainly B.S.
