They have been picking up, but the amounts that the militias are siphoning off is ALSO picking up.

With the British no longer there we will probably see a power struggle between the various Shia factions to control the area.

U.S. troops may have to engage there to avoid major disruptions. That could lead to Al Sadr raising his ugly head again.

Iraq is FAR from settled.
