That was one of the most memorable snowstorms I've ever seen, when I saw the little girl. The snowflakes were so big they cast shadows. I've never seen that before. I waited for the bus and saw her, and by the time I got home I had the poem composed in my head. Walking home from the bus stop, the snowflakes continued to fall. It was lovely.
