Is this "nonsense". It's dated start of 2007.

Interesting to see if there has been any change in projections from last year.

I sincerely hope that the USA does come out of this phase in one piece. If it is the biggest polluter now, it's not going to remain that way for long. China will be polluting more then the ROW, and some way of changing views is necessary. Imagine asking Stalin or Chairman Mao to reduce pollution as it maybe damaging the mother earth? Fat chance.

The talk of "rich nations" is all crapola or soon will be. We can thank our "democratic" world bank for that, and it's fiat currencies.

How to run an economy (a world economy) in a sustainable environment is what is under examination here. The actions of the USA as a country are one of the few hopes we have of changing things.

Otherwise there is no environment, except one that glows in the dark.

I hope the conference in Bali comes out with some voluntary agreement to reduce/monitor pollution and damage to our environment. "Mandatory" limits of any kind will only result in conflict, and where will that lead us?
