I watched CNN's Blitzer talk about how great Huckabee is as a candidate. If the liberals like him as the GOP candidate, they must believe their liberal candidate can beat him in the finale.

If the GOP is dumb enough to nominate Huckabee, he will lose in a landslide, IMO.

I still don't who I will vote for except that it won't be him.

I'm with you. Huckabee's another "compassionate" conservative. He'll spend us into debt with his Christian charity. The argument is that at least he's pro-life.

Romney and Guiliani are big city northeast Republicans. Anybody remember Nelson Rockefeller? They're not gonna close the border, but they're good managers and they'll be strong on national defense, but otherwise they're democrat lite.

Bush and Rove have really hurt the party with their "compassionate" conservatism. Made the party like the demo and dispirited the base. They were partially responsible for the mess that was the Republican Congress.

we're desperate for a conservative candidate that can win.
