What a stupid statement! The whole argument is dumb. Of course a for-profit enterprise costs more than a non-profit one, all other things being equal. Like duh. Maybe we should have non-profit apartment buildings, bakers, and TV makers, too... Sheesh.

The problem with health care in the US is more the other way around. The growing encroachment of public/government payment and control.
