You can't generalize from the cost of the current US system that all other market systems would be more costly than the typical single-payer system. One market system is definitely not a big enough sample to compare against a dozen on the other side. Let's see. You have 12 very similar systems with a cost of 50 cents. You have one very different system with a cost a $1. From that you can't logically guess that the 'very different' system is more expensive???? Have it your way man.
