What is the connection between the military and patriotism?

The willingness to risk one's life for ones country.

"Why do liberals want foreign terrorists to have the same defense rights that accused criminals in the US have?"

We are a nation of laws. If you start sidestepping those laws for any reason at all, then we are no longer one.

What makes you think foreign enemies have constitutional rights?

"Why do so many on the left believe 911 conspiracy theories"

Selective attention, I suppose. Conspiracy theory wackos dot the entire political spectrum. 9/11 is no different. You'd have to make a case that those who subscribe to 9/11 conspiracy theories are largely leftist. You haven't.

I don't have to. We all know that. Only a tiny handful of folks on the very far right believe in 911 conspiracy theories.

"Why do liberals make silly charges like the US is trying to steal Middle Eastern oil?"

Umm, it isn't only the left that have made that charge.

Again, it is mostly those on the left who make that charge. A tiny handful on the very far right don't change that.

"How do you square falsely accusing the US of crimes with claims of patriotism?"

False claims, you'd have a point. However, it hasn't been proven that all such charges are false. Or even most of them. Many of the charges have resulted in convictions...

Let's take one - the false claim that the US invaded Iraq to steal its oil. There's been no proof or convictions there. And the fact that all Iraqi oil is sold by the Iraqi national oil company in free market transactions makes the charge ridiculous. Yet many on the left mindlessly repeat it.

So far, your "shattering" is going about as well as with the first one.

Good, I showed that the FF's weren't primarily a bunch of agnostics and free-thinkers as liberals frequently claim.
