OK, let's see. So far, I have seen him being quite accurate with regard to inflation. More and more people are beginning to see the effects of inflation on their wallets. I am not talking about the zombies who can perhaps live on digital cameras and DVD players. I am talking about real people who buy milk and vegetables and put gas in their cars and pay their utilities bills.

Mish;

Good.
He will make an ass of himself in 2008.

You have been calling for deflation for a long time. This though I think is the first time you have put a date on it. Am I correct in assuming from this statement that you are calling for deflation in 2008?

Interesting. Many other intelligent and knowledgeable guys I read thing you and other deflationists guy will make a fool of themselves next year.

Me.. Although I lean towards a deflationary depression, I don't really know so I remain neutral allowing each scenario to develop, trying to be prepared for both.

Maybe 2008 will be your year.
