So many currencies involved...

And so much energy involved in transporting the damn thing all over the world several times over!

Jeans made in China: Chinese cotton shipped to Bandung, Indonesia. Turned into cloth. Shipped to Macau. Cut into jeans. Then sent by train to southern China sewn and packed.
That was mid-90's after the Asian Meltdown.

The tennis shoes manufacturers of Bandung, would get a batch of 400 tennis shoes. The Italians would bring the leather cut from Italy to be sewn, glue the sole. After completing, sent to Italy. Packed and distributed.

Italians did the same with the shirts. Cloth cut brought to Indonesia to be sewn. Sent back to Italy, packed distributed.
