Typical gold bug ! I like commercial banks selling close to their positive book value with huge unrealized gains on their foreign investments. I avoided Citigroup even though some analysts have a buy on Citigroup. Analysts have pointed out that Citigroup can sell some assets to raise their capital ratios after writedowns. I haven't seen the subprime effect spreading except for banks being more conservative on new loans.
