On one side of the equation you have a sample of thirteen. On the other side you have a sample of only ONE. A sample of one ain't valid.

No John its a sample of one. You only have one country like the US in the sample.

Even is it was 13 on each side it would be way to low for all other factors to cancel each other out, so they can reasonably be ignored (every country in the world would probably be too small of sample, there are a lot of other factors and a couple of hundred is not a large sample).
