If your claim is the only thing we can compare our system to is our own system, then you really have decided to put your head in the sand. I'm not remotely claiming that. We need to compare our system to all existing systems and all potential models. What I'm claiming is that YOU can't make the current system a proxy for all potential private models. You need to consider that other private models are possible alternatives to the current US system. If you want to compare private against public systems, you can't have only one private system in the equation. Come up with twelve more so you have thirteen on each side, then we can talk private vs public.
