We were talking about people I'd known while growing up in the Seattle area that had died in auto accidents on our way up to the mountain the other day. I thought it would be really interesting to go to the main KC library in Seattle to see if I could find any articles relating to their accidents.

A good friend of mine died in an auto accident coming over Stevens Pass during Christmas break back in 1968. All I remember are stories told to me by friends at school. I never did see an article or learn about the details that led up to his death.
