The military enlistment age is 18 (17 with parental consent). The same age as for voting. Do you oppose military recruitment of 18 year olds? If so, do you oppose their voting as well?

Yes.

What do you think the age of voting / military enlistment should be?

21.

BTW liberals oppose military recruiting on college campuses as well, where people are older.

Probably...they are places for higher education, not war.

Higher education and war are not opposed. Ever hear or West Point?

West Point is a college designed specifically for people who want to make the military their career. That's the only place where a military presence makes sense to me.

I suppose you think teens shouldn't be allowed to get abortions without parental consent either?

Yes, in certain cases......when a teen has been raped and her parents refuse an abortion.

How does the abortion clinic determine a pregnacy was caused by rape and how do they know the parents refuse an abortion?

They don't........some things in life are not clear.

The military normally votes majority Republican. And its been that way for a long time. Democrats say it'll be different next time, but they always say that.

Never has the GOP been so careless with their support of the military. For an example, it was the GOP that voted down an extension to their time home in between tours. I think the military is beginning to see what the rest of have known about the GOP for quite a while.

You're saying the military is wrong to vote REpublican overwhelmingly and you hope it will be different this time. If Democrats want to raise their military vote percent, they should treat the troops with respect, not talk about them as if they're a bunch of dumb hick losers.

I just showed you an instance where the GOP disrespected the military. Instead of even acknowledging it, you just went right back to your party line. Well, dude, its that kind of crap that will turn the military off to the GOP just as its turned them off to the war in Iraq.
