I'm a little nervous that he has peaked to early in Iowa. Probably 1/3 of voters there are still not committed to a candidate.

Its difficult to gauge with the holidays acting as an interlude. The good thing is that they all have to be on their best behavior.....Iowans don't like negative campaigning. We'll see how it plays out. If I remember correctly, Kerry was surging into Iowa and then took it; from there, he continued to build momentum. However, with Obama, I think he will face another attack of the black/inexperienced fears. Having said that, the Boston Globe win was big. The Globe is no NY Times or WA Post but its a very good, respected paper and it trumped Clinton's win of the Des Moines Register. Plus, it sets him up nicely for NH.
