And this is what insurance costs.. Not sure what your point is. Regardless of what insurance costs, it performs the bill paying function. Any system has a bill paying function. The Canadian system has a bill paying function. Regardless of the system design, there's a bill paying function. Somehow or other money for services gets to the providers. If your point is that insurance costs too much for the value received, you won't get any argument from me. We really do need to get costs down.
