Mish, you are desperately trying to "prove" that prices are falling. That is exactly what the BLS does, with its bag of tricks, except that they are desperately trying to "prove" that the prices are not rising much. For the rest of us normal folks, who do eat a balanced diet of produce and meat, there is absolutely no question that prices are going up. And most of us are not likely to forgo a sale either. The reality is - prices are rising.
