Oh, nummy! Have you cut into it yet? Our party last night was just so much fun! I had to curtail some of the things I was going to make, but we had plenty of everything, and people really liked it....

We had a huge platter of fresh shrimp, artichoke dip, cheeses and homemade flatbread, and also crackers from Costco. For dinner, honey baked ham, wild rice medley with onions, mushrooms, and celery with potabella mushroom chicken sausage, homemade cranberry sauce, fresh asparagus. Also a salad that was a big hit....started as a Costco Caesar, and I added mandarin orange slices, orange infused crasins, and walnuts. Desert was too funny.....we call Costco's oooey gooey chocolate cake, "F's cake" because he loves it so much, so that with vanilla ice-cream, and he also got two raspberry tarts, in case didn't like chocolate. LOLOL!

I think he got the tarts (like pies) because he wanted something else to pig out on.....

We both noticed that all of us must be getting older, as not much of the wine, beer and booze was gone....big sellers were the various sparking apple ciders, and sparkling waters....

Great fun with friends we've had for more than 40+ years!!!
