There is a Muslim Student Association on most publicly funded college campuses just like there is a Christian/Jewish/Hindu/Budist/Native America/etc group on nearly every campus. They are all allowed to secure rooms where they can worship, study, organize events etc, according to whatever traditions they honor, within the law. Apparently you've not been to college but in America it is a very open system. Bigots rarely have anything good to say about American higher education. Probably because the parking spaces are too small for your dual equipped pick up trucks. And that article is weird.
