Oh my gosh....Whoever wrote that little ditty knows a thing or two about buffets at Holidays, don't they....and #9 make me really choke....I even thought of getting one of those at Walgreens or some such place, but I JUST couldn't do it....LOLOL! Costco and I were best buds for the party....The huge shrimp tray was already done and gussied up....4 pounds of prawns is a whole lot of them.... I noticed they were a BIG hit, while the crackers and cheese were just ok....Also the folks liked the Costco artichoke dip with the flatbread crackers topped with parmesan cheese.... The funny thing about the house was though....We both started about a month ago, cleaning, polishing, cleaning all the crystal, etc etc etc...so some of the chores were done before Thanksgiving and pretty when all the kids and grands were here....also had to have all the packages wrapped for the one family with 6 combined family kids, so they could take them back home with them (or most of them) and we didn't have to pay so much for postage....THAT was a BIG deal, as there were over 50 gifts they took home.... I have most everything here done and under the tree, but one of the families with our other grands still have to get presents for the other kids and grands...and put ribbons on all the other stuff... My hardest part now (after getting the rest of the stuff) is just putting candles in all the places I put them, and dusting...I LOVE this Christmas! Let us know about that Pumpkin Cake.... And Thanks again for that laugh...
