It's the degree of attention. If Coconut and Experiment had a brother, me and TJ probably would devote time to boy and mother would devote time to the girls.

Women raising another women is certain disaster. Now if father try to teach girls men's angle the girls will certainly develop into better persons.

Thee are somethings that only we men can convey to a child:

-- Principles
-- Responsibility
-- Accountability
-- Punctuality
-- Planning

Women raised by another women do not grasp those concepts.

Now my wife is taking Mandarin and doing quite well.. Worked out well this summer in China but her Mandarin will never be like my son's or even my daughter's... ...

She actually happens to be a very good driver.. helped a guy out with a boost today and can change her own flats if required... I know because I taught her, I insisted. More importantly I can actually sleep wile she drives having seen her in crisis situations.. I got lucky ? no. She had a drivers license when we met.. but I wouldn't trust her then to park the car.. I basically invested a huge amount of time teaching her.. One time she got so frustrated practising on the highway she let go of the wheel @ about 100kpmh and yelled at me.. YOU TAKE IT' ... so I did.. but I gave it back .. :o) It was years before she could drink a coffee and drive down the highway concurrently.. but it all worked out in the end... A shame her parents never took the time to let her practise when it counted....

I have the same driving as a kid experience as you. Before I could even reach the pedals I got lots of chances to steer.. I signal lane changes on empty highways, it's habit LOL..

In Canada we now have a graduated system.

Entry age. The most common age for entry into the GDL program is 16 but it is lower in
several jurisdictions – 14 in Alberta, 15 in the Yukon, Northwest Territories and Nunavut. The
entry age is 15 in Saskatchewan and 15.5 in Manitoba and Prince Edward Island if the beginner
is enrolled in a driver education program.

daughter is fifteen... So next year I get to find out if she has the right stuff... but she has already driven so with a bunch of practice she should do fine..

My daughter is fluent in French like all her Quebecois cousins but yes not quite 'native' like most of them.. Need to teach them these things young... so it is natural.. My wife also learned to swim as an adult and is a beautiful swimmer... but she likely would have been so much better had she learned as a kid like my daughter, life guard material, swim team blah blah...

Looks like we agree LOL...

TBS ;O)
