I don't know what AS said as I have him on ignore. However, although some of Tilmans family may be liberal, IMO they have a ligitamate beef. He was killed in a friendly fire accident then some General thought he would cover that up an make a hero out of him. He and outhers should be shot, as in a firing squad, for this. AS is probably trying to exagerate this for his anti war views, but I don't think Democrats are telling his family what to say, or if they are, that they are listening.

The Tillman family is not interested in political wars.
They just want their privacy. But they are 100% sure their son was murdered by someone trying to keep him from endorsing Kerry and speaking out against Bush's debacle in Iraq.

Two shots to the temple from ten yards away then his uniform, personal effects and diary burned right away and a phony cover story put out about longrange friendly fire accident which Rumsfeld and Bush both signed off on.

That's cold-blooded murder. Actually it's a political
assassination, and once again treason.
