The catch 22 for the "bank pulling loan" argument is the old Latin America debtor scenario. That is if the debt is big enough to matter, banks neither want to take over businesses nor do they want to put a business over the edge.

They want to get paid.

The only way they get paid is for things to work out. The scare tactic that is so prevalent, "bank just waiting to pull the loan," is just that.
