I do not know of an ETF.. But there is an opportunity for a Jim Rogers type. :).. I am light years from that league but we do own raw farm land and have no plans on selling. Still we get cold calls and unsolicited letters from brokers quite often as they have clients looking for the same. I always peruse the local papers for ag land when we road trip..

Here is a link to get an idea of costs.. Things do not seem to be going down, out west anyway.. :)

EDIT: Those are Ag-associated funds, not farmland REIT's per se.

Other ag related approaches involve chemicals, fertilizer, seed etc. Many of
those are pretty high these days though so I am somewhat leary of general weakness hitting that sector. There are big outfits like Bunge which have global ag exposure.
