Hey, that should give BLS an idea! Include home prices in core inflation computations. And as home prices decline while food, energy etc. go through the roof, they can claim that inflation is under control!

Come to think of it. I know a few seniors and they tell me that as far as they are concerned, rising food and energy prices are what they consider as core inflation.

Getting a little tired of seeing the BLS and the deflationists lie so much about inflation.

what about the action in base metals? oil? global markets? How about interest rate spreads? those speak of inflation to you?
