The U.S. Energy Information
Administration is expected to report Thursday that 133 billion cubic feet of
gas were taken out of storage during week ended Dec. 14, according to the
average prediction of 11 analysts and traders in a Dow Jones Newswires survey.


Bloomberg: Nymex Natural Gas Declines on Outlook Winter Supplies Are Ample

Inventories probably fell 132 billion cubic feet for the week ending Dec. 14, according to the median of 14 analysts surveyed by Bloomberg.

natural gas futures lost ground midday Wednesday, as milder
weather forecasts and concerns about record high inventories
weighed on sentiment despite a cold snap early in the week,
traders said.

Independence Hub production has climbed to 854,000 Dth/d today from 796,000 Dth/d on Tuesday, and BP announced that production is ramping up on its Atlantis project in the Green Canyon area, which feeds into the Nautilus Pipeline system. There's been no significant increase in flows yet from Atlantis. However, production is expected to ramp up to 180 MMcf/d next year. Total Gulf production is down 1% today because of declines in Louisiana, mainly on Transco in the LA federal offshore.
