The FF's were not against organized religion. Four of the men who produced our founding documents were ministers themselves. Most of the others attended churches, including even the most religiously liberal FF's, like Jefferson and Adams. Its modern liberals like you who are against organized religion. Jesus never said anything negative about sex. Why should he have? But that doesn't mean he was a libertine. He defended the woman caught in adultery, saying who among you is without sin? But then, he told her "Go and sin no more." But the religious right want to outlaw sex. Hardly. Though we do need to protect minors from perverts and those who would abuse them. Even though their leaders hang in with gay prostitutes snorting meth. Since when are you and Barney Frank leaders of the religious right? Barney of the gay prostitutes and you, the admitted meth snorter.
