yea CdTe is toxic, so FSLR recycles all panels for free which adds .03 to their costs per watt. But not polluting because the recycling means FSLR can reclaim the materials and use them again. We don't really know how successful FSLR will be with this recycling business because nobody has recycled any yet and probably won't for another 8 years or so.

Nanosolar is a nice whizbang product (assuming it works which I am not sure of). But the more I read about this industry the more obvious it is to me that FSLR makes the Camry of solar panels. They are big and wide so easy to manufacture anywhere and they work. The glass mount is preferred by utilities as sturdy.
