The FF's did oppose the establishment of state churches - thats part of the reason we have the first amendment. However they did not intend that all mentions of God and religion by public officials be banned. They made such statements themselves and they publicly said organized religion was good in that it fostered public morality. also did not adhere to or vow loyalty to christianity. They were at best deists. They mostly DID adhere to Christianity. Only one was a Deist. You're just spreading a misleading meme spread by those fighting a culture war against Christian influence on our society.
