'They are just giving stocks away here imo. price/book on a lot of tech names are a multi year lows, they tossed out almost all the banks, even those with almost no subprime/alt-a exposure. The list goes on.'

Seems like only solar and the multinational nondiscretionary mundane names are desired these days.. Even the gold stocks crashed and burned lately with gold near it's highs. Semis, broadband infrastructure, pharma crashed. None of this has anything to do with the housing/credit meltdown..amazing..Probably like Auto Zone, Petsmart, Countrywide and homebuilders during the 2000-02 tech disaster<g>
