This is true, but if Mullah Omar wouldn't give free reign of the country to Osama bin Laden, who attacked us first, the Talibs would still be in power. Their women would not vote, and they would still starve - because they were not allowed to hold paying jobs. Once we went to war and removed the Talibs, things changed, as different groups came to rule the country.

I think D'Souza is trying to make some sort of an anti-Liberal argument, but "blowback" theories can only lead in a very wrong headed direction.
