owl, I'm just suggesting that the reason the market becomes "imperfect"... every single time... is simply because of the natural proclivity of human agents/brokers/dealers/bankers to do... that which all humans do... and keep "progressing" until THEY screw up a good thing. these broker dealer bankers screwed up long ago, when they betrayed their covennent, now they seek amnesty behind the neighbors walls. But do not loose faith in what is pure, market pricing or the absence of it, are simply subject to the vagaries of a given leadership on a time line. In the current sense, the leaderships forgotten its purpose, and thus it has no purpose other than self service to a client; ill constructed to the task confronting it. seeking amnesty for the calamity of its broken control units, these are but the symptoms of the broken promises......market prices can only be delayed, not denied. While the line of symptoms fuzzies the diagnosis yours is an obligation of seeking understanding, not hiding what you already know, advance and meet the challenge its there for you.
