The sceptics confused the US temperature record, with the global temperature records quoted by scientists, but the sceptics didn't care... Any data will do, as long as they could preach to their supporters, what they want to hear, and confuse the general public in the process. Who cares if we destroy our planet, as long as we protect our special interests?

That generally sums up matters, IMO. The rest is commentary.

In the audience was the inevitable water vapor GHG proponent, who disrupted the meeting, and destroyed the Q&A because he keep insisting water vapor would account for everything.

Once years ago I sat in a evolution/creationist debate where some well intentioned gentleman asserted (during the Q&A) that "I don't hold no truck with scientists" and continued to rant about how bad college Profs were. I thought he did an excellent job of displaying his sides general attitude.

I'd still like to know how all these creationists and AGW deniers pick which medical care products they'll use, given how much they distrust scientists. Surely they should avoid hospitals. Or are there some other magical rules of science which medical research follows, but all the other sciences don't?
