Here is the solution to nearly all of America's economic problems and the only one that supports it is Mr Huckabee! The fair tax will make this country great once again. Check it out!

fairtax.org

When you dig into it you will realize that by eliminating all federal income tax America will become the world best/largest tax haven. Corporations will scramble to get back in and capital will follow. The billions of US dollars sheltered in foreign banks will return and be available for investment which will lead to a stronger dollar.
In addition everyone will participate in our tax system though the federal sales tax. Dope peddlers and prostitutes to the most wealthy will all pay tax on goods and services. Tourist will even pay into our tax system. The DC special interest lobbyist will need to find some one else to influence since the politicians will no longer be able to pick and choose who gets special tax treatment.
Illegals will pay taxes and want to become legal to receive the prebate (do your home work).
And finally it will make American made goods and services more competitive around the world!

It's amazing that actually wanting to pay your bills is now considered liberal nonsense. Being apologists for deficits and personal attacks against critics is all the right seems to have left these days. JDN displays it so well: you can't disagree with Bush's policies for legitimate reasons you must be in love with his wife. You can't be for fiscal responsibility, you must be poor and hate the rich. It's pathetic. But that's what politics is in this country.

As for Laura, those smoker's lines around her mouth kind of creep me out.

On taxes, i think we should eliminate the payroll tax completely and raise the income tax to make the move revenue neutral.
