Man 1 walking down the street talking on the cell phone. He walks off the curb, right out into traffic not paying any attention to the danger at all. Man 2 seeing that man 1 is about to be killed, yanks him back from the street to the curb just as a bus rolls by.....now...did man 2 hate man 1 because he yanked man 1 back? I mean, after all, man 1 did not ask to be yanked back from certain death, but man 2 felt bound to try and save his life.

you call that hate??

Baptists do not hate Mormons. I grew up in a Baptist church and never heard a word of hatred against Mormons or any other relgiious group.

They do think the Mormon faith is fatally flawed - that Joseph Smith was a false prophet, the Book of Mormon a fake, etc. Not the same as hating Mormons.
