Right. My daughter is a teacher who left the field for other adventures. My sister still teaches, but it's driving her crazy. Teachers are in a tough spot, between parents, administration, students, and their own requirements. Overhauling our teachers' colleges would help. Get rid of professors who have never taught in the classroom at the level they are addressing, and so forth. Get rid of archaic credential requirements, and go for performance.
