Thanks for posting that graph. So what is your take on the near term solar contribution to heating? Since we are currently at a minimum, it looks to me like solar should give an upward kick to global temps for the next 6 years or so, taking our already near record highs the next leg up. Or another way of looking at it is that the last few years lower solar output should have been making things cooler, thus helping to mask GW due to CO2. Or do you have an alternate theory?

AFAIK, the 11 year wiggle due to solar is only about 0.1 deg C or so, so it is not big, but it should kick the next 5-7 years clearly above the previous highs when coupled with GHG continued upward trends.
