You most certainly have not. CAFE (corporate average fuel economy) standards are, and have always been, 50 state federal. What CA has had is stricter emission standards, which, until recently, has resulted in CA vehicles getting lower MPG than federal emission cars.

I wouldnt mind cutting off detroit from this state and selling only toyota and Tesla/Electric. Thats what most of the state wants.
