I lived without indoor plumbing or hot water for a while on a kayaking expedition in central america, it's amazing how fast you get used to it. Imo a cat hole with a pretty view beats out an indoor toilet, and soaping yourself up in a river ain't bad.

I don't WANT everything to fall apart, I'm just indifferent to it. Doesn't matter to me one way or the other ... can't imagine why anyone would worry over such a thing.

I regard Katrina as our great lesson. Those who put some thought into preparing were way ahead of those who did not. No one is immune.
