why does it bug you so much? Thats the issue here. nobody is forcing YOU to drive a Prius. The problem is, here, we can't get them. Thats why we want this bill. The voters want it and Bush is blocking it. We are not asking YOU to vote for it in the red states or midwest.

This is the kind of thing that bugs people so much about the Bush administration. He was not voted in with a mandate either time. He barely made it. But he governs like he was, thats the issue.

I will remind you that there is a LOT that I don't like about democrats. I used to be a republican. I don't like the SEC and its proxy rules that are coming as a part of democrats where large shareholders can vote themselves on Apple's board. Imho "shareholders" are RARELY the people that build great companies- they are too much of near term thinkers. Corporate regulation under democrats is a scary proposition. But AT LEAST the democrats let various states operate autonomously on certain matters.
