no, not at all actually. use the rsi and play the game with the rest of them.

i don't. why? though wrong for years, i think of all stocks as wrapped in the market, particularly at this juncture. they move up or down with the market, not on their own merits in the main. if you think you can see the market when it moves in either direction, then, doing what you say is a worthy prize. secondly, i'm a position trader, unlike the old days... a totally different approach than the one you suggest. it reaps equally fine rewards when i'm correct and saves the bother involved in the other approach.

i think you are correct if you can do it. go for it.
