I used to put plastic protectors around my young trees. Had a good job with the fruit cocktails. Push a button and move a hopper. Paid a grade above all my buds pushing 500 pound barrels around. I loved it. Think I was all the way up to $3.50/hr. Thank God for the Teamsters (hee hee...this should be fun). That would have bought me 11 gallons of gas at home, or 15 at school in LA, where the gas wars raged and I got it for 24 cents a gal. Now...I get 10 X the salary, and one gallon less of gas/ hr.
