Our daughter's family has acquired a new dog. No one called or claimed her and now she is 'adopted'. The vet feels as though she might be about seven months. She is now on her second worming... skinny, ribs everywhere, full of worms, and so very loving and gentle. She has adopted them, and Hank, the Golden Retriever at eight years of age now has new life... he absolutely adores her, and she him. She looks like a foxhound.

Soon to be spayed. Her name is Cia... for See yah later (according to SIL), but Cia came to stay and will probably have a formal name of Ciapatra - Hank is Henry the 8th... wink... she likes to eat super heroes and gloves that do not match - she is learning that these are 'not diet'... and she is now being trained to the limits of the yard with an electric collar.

Joe wouldn't let me have her with two of our own and daughter wasn't about to let me have her either as they had all fallen in love... even SIL who won't really admit it...hehehe
