What do you hear from Miss Smithee in Denver? It's starting to snow as I type. The forecast calls for 2-5 inches overnight, but it will end Saturday and none forecast for Sunday. Just cold and cloudy. She should be able to get out of town without problems, if she can barge her way through the airport.

If you go to the ASPCA, they do extensive medical workups on all their animals as well as having an animal behaviourist on staff. The process in which you adopt a new friend from the ASPCA is akin to an adoption of a child. It's been my experience to plan on at least 6 hours if you're truly serious from adopting from this agency. Plan to go home with no new friend unless you are adopting a friend that is already neutered or spayed. Also, be prepared to be told no if you don't pass the background check.
