What specific argument? Why play dense? The very well known basher argument posted too many times here (I'll bet you have used it yourself in posts) that since CO2 lags temps in the historical record, therefore AGW cannot be true. Are you asking if there is any doubt that solar forcing of temperature will tend to increase CO2 concentrations? Err was it not obvious? That seems like your asking if CO2 is a greenhouse gas. There is no doubt about that, but that's not much of an argument for your ideas. Of course thats what I'm asking. Gee, your mind is not in gear today. You implied that what I call crap arguments are not crap arguments. The main one I've been using as an example all along is the canard about CO2's phase relationship with temps in the historical record. The only way to use this as a non-crap argument is if you seriously think one or both of the following are true: 1) That CO2 will not be driven by solar (or other for that matter) temp forcing. 2) That CO2 cannot itself also cause temp forcing. If you could defend either 1 or 2 with good evidence, then it is not stupid to advance the CO2/temp phase argument. Unfortunately, both 1 & 2 are well known to be untrue. But just look at the list of dumb, dumber, idiot and moron who all post here regularly and advance this crap argument all the time. Then they expect reasonable people to consider their other ideas. Why would anyone?
