As long as people in the middle are not duped into thinking that the extremists are not dangerous the country will be okay. In the earlier part of the last century, the danger really came from the fervor on the left, but the pendulum has now swung in the other direction. There are people who are more than suggesting unfettered capitalism. Keep your mind open. You may disagree, but read Paul Krugman on the subject. He is not an extremist. He is a highly regarded main stream economist.
