The thing to fear are the other drivers - not the snow.

Back when I was trapping marten in the high country it was easier to travel in snow because the snow covered up all the brush, down logs, debris and other impediments. I floated right over them on my snowshoes.

On some days I would see so many diamonds in the snow it made DeBeers look like a piker. I can't really describe it; you have to see it for yourself.

Finest time of my life, hands down.
